Discover South Africa’s Secret Coastal Retreats: Where Luxury Meets the Sea

BBC Lifestyle is gearing up to enhance its acclaimed South African property series with a thrilling new production, Listing Coastal South Africa. This show is set to debut later this year on DStv channel 174.

Following the success of Listing Jozi, Listing Cape Town, and Listing Mauritius, this innovative ten-part series will highlight the breathtaking luxury residences found along South Africa’s varied coastline.

LISTING COASTAL SOUTH AFRICA

This production promises a magnificent visual experience, traversing the immaculate beaches of KwaZulu-Natal, extending north and south, leading into the serene Eastern Cape and the famed Garden Route.

Audiences will gain exclusive insights into some of the nation’s most lavish and often overlooked coastal estates.

Producer Nico Nel expressed his excitement: “Listing Coastal will weave a new narrative about South Africa’s coastline through the perspective of luxury living.

Every area possesses its own distinct allure with remarkable homes, and we are thrilled to bring that to life for BBC Lifestyle this year.”

COASTAL PARADISE PROPERTIES

Co-producer Trevor Kaplan remarked, “We are exploring regions that haven’t typically garnered attention. What we’ve uncovered so far during filming is remarkable.

These properties are exceptional, as are the agents.”

This series will follow leading estate agents as they navigate the competitive landscape. It will display their efforts to market multi-million rand homes nestled within these coastal havens.

This format provides a rare glimpse behind the curtain of the high-stakes realm of luxury real estate, merging aspirational living with local culture.

THE ‘LISTING’ FRANCHISE

This is a must-watch for real estate fans, aspirational home seekers, and anyone intrigued by the lifestyles of South Africa’s coastal affluent.

Pierre Cloete, Vice President for Africa at BBC Studios, highlighted the channel’s dedication to top-tier local content. “We are proud to continue supporting quality local programming that shares authentic, engaging stories.

Listing Coastal South Africa builds upon the achievements of the Listing franchise on BBC Lifestyle. The series will further enhance our catalog of local productions on the channel.

This captivating new addition offers a fresh viewpoint, celebrating the stunning allure of South Africa’s coastline.

LISTING CAPE TOWN

This upcoming series complements the currently airing Listing Cape Town, which continues to be broadcast weekly on BBC Lifestyle, as stated by IOL.

This show features some of Cape Town’s most luxurious properties valued between R15 million and R280 million.

The franchise has proven to be immensely popular, offering viewers an insider’s look at the extravagant lifestyles connected to South Africa’s elite property market.

WORLD-CLASS HOMES

Listing Coastal South Africa is currently in production and is expected to launch later this year. It aims to offer a refreshing and engaging look at luxury coastal living in South Africa.

Viewers can anticipate breathtaking vistas, world-class residences, and the vibrant personalities of the agents who showcase these properties.
