Young Stunna's December Shows Halted by Knee Injury Setback

Amapiano artist Young Stunna has had to halt his packed December schedule following a knee injury that will prevent him from performing while he recuperates.

The acclaimed musician, whose real name is Sandile Msimango, disclosed on social media that he injured his knee during an incident in East London on December 15.

In his message, the Adiwele artist attributed the setback to “unprofessional and negligent conduct” from a local promoter, stating he is now receiving the necessary medical care.

“Due to an incident resulting from unprofessional and negligent conduct by an East London promoter on December 15, I sustained an injury to my knee and am currently seeking medical attention,” Young Stunna communicated to his followers.

This injury means that he will not be able to perform at several events scheduled for December.

The affected shows include venues such as Gillian Ngoyi Stadium in Secunda, Vosloorus Stadium, Hurricane Lifestyle in Katlehong, Vkulee501 & Skroef28 Homecoming in KwaLichaba, Soweto, CSA Showground in Potchefstroom, and Kroonpark Holiday Resort in Kroonstad.

Young Stunna expressed his sincere apologies to anyone impacted by the necessary cancellations, particularly to fans who were eager to attend the shows.

“I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to event organisers, their sponsors, and most importantly, my supporters,” he remarked.

“Your understanding and continued support is greatly appreciated.”

Despite the injury, the amapiano sensation reassured fans that his team is already in the process of rescheduling the postponed performances, intending to make it up to them once he is fully healed.

“I look forward to making it up to you soon,” he added. “Thank you for your patience, love and unwavering support.”
