This 12-track project features the Cape Town rapper collaborating with notable Harlem producer CartuneBeatz, known for producing for artists like Lloyd Banks, Freddie Gibbs, and Westside Gunn. Their partnership results in a sound that combines East Coast influences with the distinct essence of Cape Town’s southern suburbs.

For over 15 years, Riyadh Roberts, better recognized as YoungstaCPT, has focused on conveying experiences rooted in Wynberg and the broader Cape Flats. While many musicians have shifted their styles in search of global appeal, Youngsta has remained true to his origins, channeling the language, culture, and daily life of his neighborhood into the core of his music.
