Reality TV personality Inno Morolong has sparked considerable controversy after revealing a recruitment effort directed at South African women interested in jobs abroad.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, she raised alarms nationwide with a recruitment announcement made on her Instagram story. Morolong indicated she was seeking “pretty” girls for positions in overseas nightclubs, regardless of their body type—such a vague characterization led many to express their concerns.
“I’m looking for South African girls, any body shape, but must be pretty to work overseas at a nightclub. Flights and accommodation will be sorted.”
In another update, she shifted her attention to local opportunities, stating that she is also searching for nightclub hostesses in Johannesburg. She specified that her ideal candidates are popular it-girls with large Instagram followings capable of drawing in “ballers and baddies” to venues.
Morolong also mentioned that discussions about compensation would occur only after candidates fulfilled her specific criteria.
What she framed as an enticing chance was met with immediate doubt as users questioned the validity of the roles and the safety of the women involved.
This announcement follows shortly after the problematic Russian Alabuga Start Program that raised alarms among South Africans about offers for overseas jobs.
The initiative, which reportedly attracted young women to a remote area in Russia under the premise of “work-study” opportunities or hospitality roles, was ultimately revealed to be associated with human trafficking operations.
This scandal, which previously implicated influencers like Cyan Boujee and Seemah, continues to be a delicate subject. Many individuals now cite it as a caution that vague promises of travel and lucrative pay, particularly those proposed by popular figures, can be perilous.
