Tracy, a South African musician, is set to release her debut solo EP titled Azalondwe on Friday, October 23, 2026. This project is a significant step in her musical career as it represents her first venture into solo work.
Prior to the EP’s launch, Tracy has already shared a preview with her single “Xesha,” which serves as the initial release from the upcoming EP. The track offers insights into the musical style she is pursuing on Azalondwe, generating excitement for the complete collection.
For Tracy, this EP encompasses more than just music; it narrates her personal journey, reflecting on life’s challenges, the determination necessary for achieving one’s dreams, and the dedication that fuels her artistic aspirations.
In discussing the title’s significance, Tracy expressed that Azalondwe draws inspiration from her alter ego, Queen Dilika, whom she describes as her internal hustler. Through this persona, she examines the resolve, obstacles, and experiences that influence her path.
This thematic element gives the EP a deeply personal resonance, allowing Tracy to connect with the realities faced in the pursuit of success while addressing the hardships experienced in chasing aspirations. Her emphasis on perseverance suggests that this body of work will provide listeners with a glimpse into her true self beyond the music.
Queen Dilika exemplifies another aspect of Tracy’s persona, highlighting the ambition that drives her creativity. By focusing the project around this alter ego, she is able to narrate a story that intertwines her personal experiences with those of others striving for their goals.
The impending release of Azalondwe marks a turning point for Tracy. While she has already introduced the work through “Xesha,” the full EP will offer fans a comprehensive view of her artistic vision and the messages she wishes to convey through her music.
As the release date nears, excitement is growing among fans eager to hear Tracy’s latest compositions. This project offers her a chance to solidify her identity as a solo artist while sharing a narrative rooted in ambition, grit, and her passion for music.
With Azalondwe set to be available this Friday, Tracy is prepared to highlight the story of Queen Dilika. Fans can anticipate streaming the EP starting October 23, as they explore the complete musical journey of her newest project.
