A nostalgic clip of the late Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes rapping along to Ngud’ has resurfaced on social media. The footage, shared on X by @AKA_Tales, reopened old wounds as many fans continue to mourn AKA’s passing.
On Sunday, 7 September 2025, the fanpage reflected on AKA’s glory days as a daring artist.
“AKA was indeed the real one. He performed Cassper’s verse on Ngud,” the fan wrote.
In 2024, Cassper also had a moment to perform one of his rival’s tracks. He sang AKA’s popular song All Eyes On Me, but this did not sit well with many fans, who accused him of exploiting the situation for personal gain.

Understanding the dispute between Cassper and AKA
Their rivalry was explosive, creating enduring tracks from both artists, such as Composure and Dust 2 Dust. They often took shots at each other through their lyrics, ensuring the feud remained a topic of conversation.
However, following AKA’s passing, fans began to question the authenticity of their rivalry. Many believed they maintained a cordial relationship off-stage while continuing to promote the persona of rap adversaries. Cassper even suggested settling their differences in the boxing ring, only to later reveal that AKA kept postponing the match.
After AKA’s death, Cassper paid his respects to his family, further fueling theories that their rivalry may have been exaggerated.
During a 2023 interview on The Episode Podcast , Cassper disclosed that they had once collaborated on music together. The hitmaker behind Mama I Made It shared that the tracks were produced by Ganja Beatz and are still in his vault.
