Al Hilal is nearing the completion of a transfer for Gabriel Martinelli as negotiations between the Saudi club and Arsenal progress to their final stages.
Discussions have centered around a fee in the vicinity of £50-55 million, with Arsenal reportedly willing to approve the transfer and allow Martinelli to leave. Conversations concerning personal terms are ongoing, and the Brazilian winger is anticipated to make his choice shortly.
Softfootball mentioned earlier today that Al Hilal has officially contacted Arsenal regarding Martinelli as the Saudi Pro League team intensifies efforts to secure a significant attacking reinforcement.
Martinelli has indicated a willingness to consider a transfer to Saudi Arabia, positioning Al Hilal advantageously as talks move forward.
The Brazilian winger has emerged as a priority for Al Hilal, ahead of other targets such as Pedro Neto and Francisco Conceição, and the club is now focused on finalizing the transfer.
With both clubs nearing agreement on the transfer fee, the main outstanding issue is Martinelli’s decision and the finalization of his personal contract terms with Al Hilal.
