
Bravo Le Roux’s family requests donation to bring rapper’s body back home
The relatives of the deceased rapper Bravo Le Roux have initiated a fundraising effort aimed at covering the expenses of repatriating his body to South Africa and supporting his young daughter in the aftermath of his passing.
Bravo, whose birth name was Sinesipho Peter, died in Switzerland on January 22.
Following the announcement of his death, numerous tributes have surfaced from fans, colleagues, and the broader community, celebrating his life and contributions to music.
In a statement released on Monday, Bravo’s family remarked that many individuals had approached them expressing a desire to help during this difficult time.
The family detailed that the fundraiser was established in response to these offers, as they manage the emotional and financial pressures that have arisen due to his loss.
“The family is facing the practical and financial challenges associated with repatriating Bravo to South Africa,” the statement read.
It was also mentioned that the initiative is intended to address several urgent needs.
“The fundraiser has been created to help cover the costs related to returning Bravo to South Africa, immediate and necessary expenses connected to his passing and long-term support for his daughter. Any contribution is entirely voluntary and deeply appreciated.”
Moreover, the family expressed their appreciation for the outpouring of sympathy and support they have received, while requesting privacy as they mourn.
