Super Falcons head coach Justin Madugu stated that his team understands the significance of their critical 2026 WAFCON Group C match against Egypt, emphasizing their commitment to achieving a favorable outcome.
During his press conference before the match, Madugu highlighted the importance of the game and the team’s resolve to perform well. He remarked:
“We all know what is at stake, and we’re doing our best to ensure that we get the right result,”
To advance in the tournament, Nigeria must secure a victory against Egypt. Additionally, Softfootball indicates that if Malawi wins against Zambia, the Super Falcons may only require a draw to move on to the knockout stage.
