In a candid reflection, the celebrated rapper discussed the immense expectations that burden many men daily. He noted that they often feel compelled to be providers, guardians, and sources of strength while also aiming to excel in various life aspects.

“Take care of yourselves, bro. Sometimes we carry way too much weight on our shoulders,” he stated. “We feel like we have to be the provider, the protector, and everything else, while still going out into the world and performing at our best.”

Nasty C highlighted social media’s significant role in shaping unrealistic standards imposed on men. He pointed out that online platforms continue to elevate what it means to be successful or appealing, with much of this constructed on superficiality rather than truth.

“The standards keep getting higher. Social media keeps raising the bar of what it means to be ‘that guy,’ even though so much of it is artificial,” he commented.

Instead of pushing men to pursue unattainable goals, the artist behind “SMA” encouraged them to focus on their own joy and personal satisfaction. He shared that he is consciously setting aside time to engage in activities that bring him happiness, which has positively influenced his life.

“So, for real, take care of yourself. Make time to do what genuinely makes you happy. That’s what I’m doing right now, and it feels good,” he noted.

He wrapped up his thoughts with a reminder that life should not be dominated by pressure and expectations. Nasty C called on men to appreciate life, remain genuine, and be around those who truly care for them.

“Have fun. Stay true to yourself. Stay close to the people who matter. At the end of the day, your well-being comes first. Take care of yourself, bro.”

His comments struck a chord with many followers, contributing to ongoing discussions regarding men’s mental health, self-care, and the societal and social media pressures that affect them. While Nasty C is renowned for his chart-topping hits and global collaborations, his recent insights provide a more intimate viewpoint, reminding men that self-care is just as crucial as fulfilling societal expectations.
