Paris Saint-Germain have ramped up their efforts to sign Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, presenting their sporting vision to the Japanese athlete as they seek his endorsement prior to formally engaging with the Serie A club.
Softfootball reports that PSG has made the 23-year-old a key target and is gearing up to initiate discussions directly with Parma.
The French side has bolstered its chances after Juventus’ initial offer for Suzuki was turned down. With the Turin team yet to follow up with a better proposal, PSG is acting swiftly to persuade the goalkeeper that Paris represents the optimal next step in his career.
Parma is believed to rate Suzuki at approximately €30 million and is likely to remain steadfast in negotiations, given that the goalkeeper’s value has increased thanks to a number of standout displays in Serie A.
Earlier updates indicated that Aston Villa was keeping an eye on Suzuki’s developments as they explored their own goalkeeping options for the upcoming summer transfer window. However, PSG has taken the lead by directly engaging with the player’s representatives.

As securing the player’s consent becomes increasingly critical, focus will shift to negotiations with Parma as PSG aims to wrap up one of their summer’s top targets.
