Terry left an enduring mark on the entertainment scene, featuring in hits such as Egoli: Place of Gold, Generations, and Scandal!.
He was also well known for his portrayal of Ivan Jones in Binnelanders, where he performed alongside the late Jonathan Pienaar, as well as appearing in Rockville.
His daughter, Elizabeth Zacharie, confirmed the news of his death through a heartfelt social media post on behalf of the family.

Although the family has yet to provide additional details, reports suggest that the actor had been hospitalized for what was thought to be a routine procedure.
Unfortunately, complications appeared, resulting in a serious deterioration in his condition.
It is reported that he had been contending with prior health issues, including cancer, which might have played a role in his death.
Tributes have been flooding in from both fans and fellow actors, many recalling Terry not just for his performances on screen, but also for his significant contributions to theatre as a playwright and voice artist.
