Following the commemoration of the third anniversary of their historic 2023 FA Cup win over Manchester United, the initial trophy in their Treble-winning campaign, Manchester City has announced via their official X account that promising midfielder Divine Mukasa has secured a contract extension that will keep him with the club until 2030.
Softfootball reports that the 18-year-old attacking midfielder has made impressive progress since joining City’s academy from West Ham United FC in 2023.

Mukasa was born in London to a Ugandan father and a Lithuanian mother. He has emerged as one of the club’s standout prospects, showcasing his talent at various youth levels and gaining first-team experience through a loan at Leicester City FC.
In a similar development reflecting the Premier League’s commitment to nurturing young talent, Tottenham Hotspur has also announced a new contract for academy defender Maeson King, which signifies a critical advancement in his career within the club.
