A prominent old-school R&B event is set to make its return in South Africa this October as the Old School R&B Brunch brings its international tour to Durban, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.
The South African series will kick off at The Villa in Durban on Saturday, 24 October, and will continue at Maracanà in Johannesburg on Sunday, 25 October, wrapping up at Cabo Beach in Cape Town on Sunday, 1 November 2026.
This year’s tour theme, Heartbreak to High Notes, highlights the R&B music that defined a generation, featuring everything from heartbreaking ballads to dance-inducing tracks that captured the essence of the 1990s and early 2000s.
The event offers more than just a typical brunch; it combines nostalgic tunes, audience engagement, interactive games, live hosting, food, and an energetic party vibe. The more enthusiastic the crowd, the more the DJs and hosts elevate the experience.
